SANTA FE - Mr. Caden James McLin passed from this life Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Santa Fe.

Caden was born February 4, 2005, in La Marque. From a young age he showed tenacity, drive and creativity. He was an outgoing young man who seized any business idea he could conjure up. From creating his own fashion lines to reconditioning vintage tennis shoes for a profit - if he thought it, he tried it. And while none of his business plans really panned out, it was such a joy to watch him think uniquely and unapologetically. Caden was blessed with the gift of gab. He could talk to anyone and never met a stranger. He frequently used his hair as a fashion statement, which had him looking into becoming a barber most recently. He was a goofy, carefree guy who brought his family and friends endless smiles. He was loved by so many and while our hearts feel empty, we take comfort in remembering his free spirit and powerful imagination. We love you Caden James.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Charles McCaskill; great-grandparents, James and Jimmie Bradley; great-grandmother, Pauline Zimmerman; great-aunts, Sheri Bradley and Renee McCaskill Carlisle.

Survivors include his mother, Kendell Bradley; father and step-mother, Jeremy and Stephanie McLin; grandparents, Dalton and Sandra Bradley, Curtis and Lisa McLin; great-grandmother, Azell McCaskill; brothers, Maddox Zane Bradley, Jonah McLin; sister, Charlie Rose Bradley; step-sister, Hailey Elmer; uncles, Joshua Bradley and wife, Margot, Bryan McLin and wife, Tara; fur babies, Jet and Tessa; Many beloved cousins, great-uncles, and great-aunts.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
