Cathy (Schlankey) Gould

LA MARQUE – Lois Catherine “Cathy” (Schlankey) Gould passed peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in La Marque.

Born May 14, 1947, in Galveston, TX, Cathy graduated from Ball High School and attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles, Missouri. Cathy was the Parish Administrator at Grace Episcopal Church for 30 years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lois Catherine “Kay” Schlankey.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, George H. Gould, Jr.; daughters, Kari Roe and husband, Charles, Lois Catherine “Katie” Campbell and husband, Kevin; brother, James Schlankey; sister, Jeannie Henry; grandchildren, Grace Roe, Hank Roe, Seth Campbell, Sam Campbell and Kelsea Campbell.

A memorial service and committal will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Grace Episcopal Church, 1115 36th Street, in Galveston. A reception will follow in Jinkins Hall.
