Charles Martin Ginn

SANTA FE - Mr. Charles Martin Ginn passed from this life Wednesday evening, May 18, 2022 in Santa Fe.

Born July 24, 1941 in Brownsville, Texas, Mr. Ginn had been a resident of Santa Fe for most of his life. He was an electrician with Brown and Root for over 30 years and a member of the United States Air Force Reserves for 6 years. Charles was a hardworking man, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, old western movies and especially watching his grandchildren show their livestock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Margaret (Martin) Ginn, Jr.; wife of over 35 years, Kathy Lynn Ginn.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Loflin and wife, Norma of San Antonio, Marty Ginn and wife, Shawna of Santa Fe; daughters, Melissa Stevens and husband, Mike of La Grange, Cari Morales and husband, Ray of New Braunfels; brother, John Henry Ginn, III of Brownsville; sister, Barbara Ginn Jennings of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; good friend, Beverly Quinton of Pearland; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
