Charles Wayne “Rambo” Sanders
NEW BRAUNFELS - Mr. Charles Wayne “Rambo” Sanders passed from this life Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023, in New Braunfels.
Born March 18, 1942 in Baytown, Mr. Sanders proudly served his country in the United States Marines and was a welder and pipe fitter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Powell Glenn and Clara Mae (Tapp) Sanders; wife, Gracie Frances Sanders; daughter, Becky Downey; 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Alan DeWayne Sanders, Jeffrey Warren Sanders; daughters, Robyn N, Schneider, Brenda Diane Sherif; numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor James Collazo officiating.
