SANTA FE - Ms. Charlotte Evelyn Brantley passed from this life Tuesday evening, September 19, 2023, in Clear Lake.

Charlotte was BOI on December 9, 1942. With her father in the Navy, Charlotte learned early on the importance of patriotism. She loved her country and was very proud to fly the American flag on her flagpole every day. Charlotte loved her flower garden, which was always full of roses, hibiscus and sitting outside watching the hummingbirds. She enjoyed passing the time with a good mystery novel, but nothing made her happier than when she was with her family, especially her great grandchildren. Charlotte loved being involved with their lives by going to their events or just caring for them at her home. She was a fun, vibrant woman who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte (Branton) Dunn; best friend, Lucy G.

Survivors include her daughters, Gina Coovert and husband, Dean, Charlotte Brewer, Kristal Castro; sister, Casey Peterson; grandchildren, Travis, Briana, Arrow, Kali, Ivan, Joseph, Isiac; nieces, Erin and Devin; nephew, Adam Peterson; fur babies, Little Man and Patches; numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 14, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
