Cheron Lynn Simpson passed away at the age of 45 on July 6, 2026, in Conroe.

Cheron was born on November 17, 1980, in Houston, TX. Cheron was a devoted caregiver whose compassionate heart touched the lives of many. She found great joy in the beauty of the outdoors, especially in riding horses and spending peaceful hours trail riding, pursuits that brought her happiness and a deep sense of freedom.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Simpson; and grandparents, Alfred and Hortencia Gutierrez.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Gutierrez; children, Tanner, Chelby and Lily; brother, Jason Simpson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
