SANTA FE - Mrs. Clara Louise Willoughby passed from this life Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2022, in Galveston.

Born November 23, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Willoughby had been a resident of Santa Fe for 38 years, previously of Wichita Falls, TX. Clara had worked for SFISD as a school bus monitor for 7 years. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Santa Fe and enjoyed reading, puzzles and cross stitching.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian Stringer and Joyce (Minor) Bragg and brother, Ronnie Stringer.

Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years, Ron Willoughby; brother Brian Stringer and wife, Dana.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, with Reverend Paul Mueller officiating.
