Craig Stuart Christopher Croft

HITCHCOCK – Mr. Craig Stuart Christopher Croft passed away at the age of 58 on February 2, 2025, in Hitchcock.

Born September 24, 1966, in Galveston, TX, Mr. Croft had been a lifelong resident of Galveston County. Craig worked as a merchant marine with the Seafarers Union for over 35 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gordon Croft; brothers, Michael Croft and Lawrence Jack Croft.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Croft; brother, Kenneth Croft; son, Craig Croft, Jr. and wife, Stormy; grandchildren, Penelope Croft, Elyza Belle Croft, Colby Thompson; former wife and best friend, Pam Croft.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX. (409) 925-3501, with Deacon Alvin Lovelady officiating.
