ALGOA – Mrs. Darlene Wanda Logan passed from this life Monday morning, February 16, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born January 22, 1953, in Houston, TX, she was a devoted, strong loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at Travelers Insurances for many years. She found joy and comfort in the companionship of animals throughout her life. She took pride in her garden, where her green thumb brought beauty to life year after year. Near the end of her life, she cherished quiet walks in the park with the one who meant the most to her ~ the love of her life, James “Andy” Logan.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ollie E. and Mary Pearl Henry; parents, Frank Thomas, Sr. and LaVerna Wright; siblings, David Thomas, Susan Ikerd, Allen Thomas, Frank Thomas, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, James Logan, which she only called him by when he was in trouble ~ otherwise he was Andy; siblings, Charlotte Wright and husband, Jimi, Merry Thomas, Ashley Torrez and spouse; children, Andrea Church Howard, Brittany Shultz and husband, Andy, Jamie Logan, Tammy Ekstrom; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews.

A private cremation will be held, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
