SAN LEON - Mr. David Perez passed from this life Sunday evening, April 29, 2022, in San Leon.

Born February 3, 1962, in Galveston, Mr. Perez had been a lifelong resident of Galveston County. He was the owner/operator of D&B Flooring for 38 years. David enjoyed fishing, welding as well as building and repairing things.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Claudia (Legis) Perez; brother, Ernest Perez; sisters, Tina Ybarra, Lupe Castillo and Liz Garza.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 18 years, Bobbye Perez; sons, Robert Jones and wife, Isabell of LaPorte, Michael Jones and wife, Sharon of Texas City; daughter, Amanda Perez of Texas City; brothers, Frank Perez and wife, Mary Helen of Pearland, Jesse Perez and wife, Yolanda of Santa Fe, Ricky Perez and wife, Donna of Austin; sisters, Sandy Hughes of Santa Fe, Mary Albright of Webster, Carmen Negrete of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Saige Jones, Joshua Jones; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday May 15, 2022, at Thelma Webber Community Center, 14304 Beriton Street, Santa Fe, Texas 77517.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
