Ms. Denise Ann Armstrong passed from this life Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Webster.
Denise was born on January 8, 1958, in Texas City. She lived a life defined by devotion, compassion, and quiet strength. She cared for her parents with unwavering love, giving them comfort, dignity, and the kind of support only a deeply devoted daughter could offer. Family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, celebrating their joys, guiding them through challenges, and loving them without limits. Her legacy lives on in the people she nurtured, the values she passed down, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Shirrel and Shirley Mae (Sonnier) Taylor; son, Jason Nicholson; grandson, Jacob Armstrong; brother, Terry Gibbons.
Survivors include her sons, Mark Armstrong and wife, Leslie, Brandon Nicholson and wife, Debra; daughter, Michelle Golden and husband, Gary Gillespie, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Marsha Nicholson; brothers, Shane Taylor and wife, Kimberly, Larry Taylor and wife, Cindy; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
