ALVIN – Mrs. Diana Lynn Lusty passed away at the age of 70 on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Alvin.
Born June 29, 1954, in Fresno, California, Mrs. Lusty was a resident of Alvin for 14 years, previously of Moreno Valley, California. A former law secretary in California, Diana was a woman of deep faith who found comfort and strength in reading her Bible daily. Her home was always a reflection of her — warm, welcoming, and immaculately kept. To her family, she was the heart of everything. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, lighting up at every visit and milestone. Though grounded in faith and family, she also had a fearless streak and a thrill-seeking spirit. Whether riding roller coasters or skydiving, she embraced life’s adventures without hesitation. Her bravery and zest for life inspired all who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, but for the courage, joy, and unwavering love she brought to every moment.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Dorris (Morrow) Gleason.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Bobby Lusty; daughters, Christina Carpenter of The Woodlands, Jennifer Lusty of Alvin, Robin Murphy of Bull Scholls, Arkansas; brother Doug Gleason and wife, Sherry of Plano; sisters, Judy Gleason of Tuolumne, California, Lori Carter and husband, Mike of Idaho; grandchildren, Kristen, Brandon, Blake, Joshua, Jacob; great-grandchild, Addison.
