Dillon Shane Williamson

HOUSTON – Mr. Dillon Shane Williamson, a beloved member of the community, passed away at the age of 30 on January 28, 2025, in Houston. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him.

A beautiful baby boy was born on November 19, 1994, to Patrick Joel Williamson and Sherrie Marie Meister. Dillon in his own unique fashion viewed the world through his own filters. He formed an immediate tight knit bond with his sister, Karrissa Marie Williamson whom he absolutely loved. Dillon was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City on April 30, 2006, and received his first communion on April 29, 2007. Dillon went on as a young man to serve several years with the local Boys Scouts. Through middle school Dillon explored into the JR. ROTC program. Through high school Dillon served as a sports trainer and assisted the school’s football team. Dillon had a diverse taste for music and passion for gaming. Dillon was a bit of a foodie and always willing to try something new with the family. Dillon also enjoyed time outdoors, fishing or time at the beach. His goofy, yet distinctive personality often kept everyone laughing. He had a heart of gold and a passion for animals of all sorts. After high school Dillon would volunteer at the local shelters helping animals in need.

He was preceded in death by his nana, Ruby Jane Meister; grandpa, Donald James Williamson.

Survivors include his mother, Sherrie Marie (Meister) and spouse, Mark Breland; father, Patrick J. Williamson; sister, Karrissa Marie Williamson; grandmother, Rosalinda Williamson; aunt, Donna Dipuccio and spouse Cheyenne Dipuccio; numerous cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating. Family and friends can gather next door at Midway Church of Christ until 4:30 p.m.
