Domingo Garcia Gonzales

Mr. Domingo Garcia Gonzales passed from this life Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Santa Fe.

Born February 18, 1945, in Pearsall, TX, Mr. Gonzales had been a resident of Santa Fe for 65 years. Domingo worked as a machine operator, retiring from Mars, Inc. He was very involved and served as a former deacon at Iglesia Santa Fe Baptist Church. He loved to work but also enjoyed reading and sports of all kinds. His grandchildren will fondly remember that he was “crazy about them.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Tiburcia (Garcia) Gonzales; 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a great grandchild, Blayklee Whitaker.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Ada H. Gonzales; children, Adelina Cantu and husband, Rick, Sophia Ramirez and husband, Richard Morales, Jacob Gonzales and wife, Stacy; brother, David Gonzales; grandchildren, Tessah Ramirez, Kayla Ramirez, Marisa Morales, Monica Cantu-Allen and husband, Sam, David Cantu and wife,  Lauren, Christopher Gonzales and wife, Ashley; great grandchildren, Joseph Denney, Christopher Denney, Aaliyah Denney, Aaniyah Cortez, Braxton Lopez, Hailee Cantu,  Abryanna Cantu, Esther Cantu and Calilah Gonzales.   

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
