SANTA FE – Mrs. Doris Burldene Templeton passed from this life Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Alvin.
Born October 7, 1938, in Plainview, Texas, Doris was a woman of deep faith and boundless creativity. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alta Loma, where her faith guided her life and her kindness touched many. She had a passion for crafts—whether it was embroidery, crochet, quilting, or painting, she poured love into everything she created. She also had a green thumb, finding joy and peace in her garden. In her younger years, she embraced adventure, enjoying water skiing and later, camping with grandchildren under the stars in a tent. Above all, she was a loving grandmother, creating a lifetime of precious moments with her family. Those who knew her held her in the highest respect, and she will be deeply missed.
