Edward Owen McLenna, Sr. of Santa Fe, TX passed away at the age of 84 on October 7, 2024.
Edward was born to Edward Warren McLenna and Ava Lou (Peters) McLenna on May 31, 1940, in Brownsville, TX. Edward married Dorothy Sue (Millard) McLenna September 9, 1960. Edward was a long-time active member and elder of Midway Church of Christ. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #527 working commercial construction eventually retiring from Amoco. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on projects in his shop.
Edward is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Sue McLenna and his sisters, Patricia Barton and Martha Weems. He is also survived by his children, Edward McLenna, Jr, David McLenna, Richard McLenna, and Sandra Moore, as well as his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Jasper.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the employees of Baywind Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.
