Eusebio Hernandez, Jr. passed away at the age of 70 on June 20, 2025, in Arlington.
Born July 27, 1954, in Edinburg, TX, Eusebio was known for his deep love of fishing, unforgettable backyard BBQs, and frequent trips to the casino. A true collector at heart, he found beauty and meaning in the little things, always treasuring the memories attached to each item. His passion for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched — win or lose, he cheered with pride and loyalty every season.
He will be remembered for his warm heart, his love of good food and good company, and the way he made every gathering feel special. Whether reeling in the big one on a quiet lake or firing up the grill for family and friends, he made moments that will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eusebio and Olivia Hernandez, Sr.; son, Emiliano Tristan Hernandez; brother, David Hernandez; sisters, Silvia Castro and Marina Flores.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Juanita Hernandez; daughters, Denise Hernandez, Leticia Francechy and husband, Ruben, Cynthia Hernandez; brothers, Javier Hernandez and wife, Trinia, Jamie Hernandez and wife, Francis; sister, Yolanda Lusignan; grandchildren, Victor Lozano-Rodriguez, Madysen Lozano-Rodriguez, Arthur E. Rodriguez and Gabrielle Lott.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Deacon Michael Carr officiating. Interment will be at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Robert Anderson, Jr., Josh Flores, Ruben Francechy, Montayo Garcia, Jose Irlas, Victor Lozano-Rodriguez and Arthur Rodriguez, Sr.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
