HITCHCOCK - Mrs. Florence Ann Forgason passed away from this life Saturday morning, June 3, 2023, in Hitchcock.

Florence, known to friends as Candy, was born May 10, 1935, in San Antonio. She was the most loving mother and devoted wife to her late husband, Bobby. Candy’s love language was spoken through gifts, whether it was the gift of time like spending the day with her daughters and grandchildren or something tangible like the treasures she’d find at a thrift shop. She truly enjoyed gifting what she could. She was a wonderful cook and delighted in every pup kiss she got from her loyal companions. We will miss her sweet spirit, but we know we will see her again.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Lynn Forgason.

Survivors include her sons, Frank Haglegans, Bill Bullard; daughters, Debra Mallett, Barbara Horne, Susan Willis, Judy Crounse; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Taylor Wehrle officiating.
