HITCHCOCK – Francisco Silva, Jr. passed away at the age of 17 on Monday, February 24, 2025 in Hitchcock.
Frankie was born on April 4, 2007, in Texas City. He had a passion for speed– finding joy in the roar of an engine and the thrill of the open road. He loved driving fast, repairing motors and spending any extra money on his baby, Chrysler 300. If he wasn’t moving in a car, then he was on his dirt bike, riding it up and down the back roads. He attended Santa Fe ISD and later moved to Hitchcock ISD. At SFISD, Frankie was on the football team for 4 years. He was a respectful young man who had an ambition to start his career in Emergency Medicine as an EMT so that he could help others…. and maybe drive fast too. Beyond cars, he had a passion for gaming and rap music. He always brought energy and creativity to the table. More than anything, Frankie was a good person. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He had a vibrant personality with a heart of gold that was beyond compare and we will miss him tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his great-uncle, Richard Hodapp; grandfather, Augustine Sauceda, II.
Survivors include his mother, Melissa Miller; step-fathers, Elias Sauceda and Jonas Rodriquez; brothers, Sean Miller, Elias Sauceda, Jr.; sisters, Isabel Sauceda, Kadence Rodriquez, Guadalupe Rodriquez; grandparents, Steve Miller (Teresa), Nelda Sauceda; aunts, Brandie Herrera (David), Rita Johnson (Monica Bova), Amber Miller; cousins, Patience, Tyler, Gabrielle, James, Zachary, Dakota, Aliyah, Wyatt, Emalyn, Kobe and Mariah; pup, Perk.
