SAN MARCOS - Frank Albion Hill, Jr., passed from this life Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Kyle, Texas at the age of 91. He resided in San Marcos, Texas at the time of his passing but he was a long time resident of La Marque, Texas.
He was born on September 24, 1933, in Brownsville, Texas, to Frank Hill Sr. and Minerva (Smith) Hill. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, was a machinist with Amoco Oil Company in Texas City for 28 years and attended Gloster First Baptist Church. Frank was involved in coaching youth sports, including baseball, softball and football. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Marian Margaret “Mary” (Hudler) Hill and his parents, Frank and Minerva, and sisters, Edith Irene Olsson, and Minerva Jean “Polly” Hamilton.
Survivors include his sons, David Hill and wife, Juvylin of Texarkana, Larry and Lynnette Hill of Conroe; daughters, Lori Whitmire and husband, Bobby of Lampasas, Carol Hill de Santos of League City, Dana Digilormo and husband, Tommy of Bossier City, Louisiana, Tracy Hill and Daniel Paciocco of San Marcos, Texas; grandchildren, Mitchell, Amanda, Kyle, Matthew, Michael, William, Cody, Carly; 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
