Frank Marullo

SANTA FE – Frank Marullo, lovingly known as Frank, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, July 6, 2026, in Webster, Texas, at the age of 85.

Born on August 31, 1940, in Cameron, Louisiana, Frank spent 45 years calling Arcadia home after previously living in Galveston. He dedicated more than four decades of his life to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he took great pride in his work in maintenance. His faith was the foundation of his life. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and an active member of Knights of Columbus Council 10393.

Frank found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time outdoors, he appreciated every opportunity to enjoy God’s creation. But nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent making memories with them. He led by example through his quiet strength, unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and unconditional love for those he held dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mercia (Broussard) Marullo; his brother, Joe Marullo.

Frank leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Brenda Marullo. He is also survived by his son, Chris Marullo and Lina Pignataro of Friendswood; his daughter, Deborah Marullo of Santa Fe; his brother, Sam Marullo and Sue King of Bayou Vista; his sisters, Antoinette Forasiepi of La Marque and Mary Salenger and her husband, Harold, of Bayou Vista.

He also leaves behind the grandchildren who brought him so much pride and joy: Joshua Hoffman and Magali Mendoza, Rachel Hoffman and Nick Pujol, Christopher David Hoffman and An Elizabeth, and Christian Marullo. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren, Mellie Pujol and Axel Hoffman, as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Frank’s life was one of quiet devotion, to his faith, his family, and his country. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., followed by a memorial mass at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Larry Wilson, Celebrant.
