Garry William Wythe, Sr.

HITCHCOCK - Mr. Garry William Wythe, Sr. passed from this life Friday morning, September 12, 2025, in Houston.

Born November 3, 1956, in Galveston, Mr. Wythe was a lifelong resident of Galveston County. Garry proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had worked in security at the Port of Galveston for the past 15 years, and the Houston Pilots. He was a member of the Texas City RC Club, and in his spare time, he loved riding motorcycles and working on classic cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Wythe; mother, Donna; wife, Sherry Ann Wythe and brother, Michael Wythe.

Survivors include his sons, Garry Wythe, Jr., Derik Wythe; daughter, Kace Satran; sister, Bobbie Jo Zaleski; several grandchildren and 2 great grandbabies.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. 

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Murphy's on Main, 104 Main Street, La Marque, Texas 77568.
