LEAGUE CITY - On August 19, 2023, Gaylynn Varley lost her life at the age of 63 years old.

Born March 9, 1960, Gaylynn was born, raised, and died in Galveston County, Texas. Gay Lynn was a loving and giving woman who would do anything and everything she could for those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Patricia (Thompson) Davis, Sr.; brother, Kenneth Davis, Jr.; grandson, Stanley Proffitt.

Survivors include her son, Patrick Kerstens; daughter, Sarah Proffitt and husband, Justin; brothers, James Davis, John Davis, Chuck Davis; sister, Nancy Bolden; grandchildren, Layla Kerstens, David Proffitt, Jake Varley, Grace Varley, Hayley Kless, Spencer Varley, Brendan Varley and Hadyn Varley.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas.
