Glenn Paul Anderson
BACLIFF - Mr. Glenn Paul Anderson passed from this life Monday morning, July 17, 2023.
Glenn was born in Texas City on July 10, 1957, to Paul and Jeanine (Harris) Anderson. Glenn graduated from Santa Fe High School and quickly found his calling as a train conductor. A few years later, he married the love of his life, Dee Dee, and the two started a family. Glenn knew how to work hard, and he played hard too. Whatever the season was, he loved watching sports on TV, especially the Astros. He was always up for live music events and loved listening to rock, classic southern rock and Texas country music. Glenn enjoyed the outdoors too. He eventually found his niche in gardening. He loved growing his vegetable gardens all around the home and keeping the landscape beautiful. He liked to hunt but being on the water was a leisure activity Glenn couldn’t live without. He was an avid fisherman and loved being out on the boat. Above all, Glenn loved his family, and his grandchildren were everything to him. He was a fun-loving man who will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jeanine (Harris) Anderson; brother, Jim Anderson; mother-in-law, Aleene Ivie.
Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Dee Dee Anderson; son, Toby Paul Anderson and wife, Lauren; daughter, Brooke Simpson and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Fox Simpson, Finn Simpson, Fawn Simpson, Brixton Anderson; nephew, Coby Anderson; nieces, Emily Jane Anderson, Amy Taylor, Tara Taylor; father-in-law, John Taylor; brother-in-law, Jay Taylor; sister-in-law, Rose Anderson (Todd).
