Gregorio Lopez Arriaga, Jr.

DEER PARK - Mr. Gregorio Lopez Arriaga, Jr., passed from this life Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Pasadena.

Born February 14, 1971, in Texas City, Mr. Arriaga had been a resident of Deer Park for 17 years. He was a landscaper by trade. A dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, Gregorio never missed a game. His enthusiasm for the team was unmatched, and he could often be found cheering them on, proudly. He had a passion for karaoke, where he showcased his love for music and performing. Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, Gregorio had a knack for making jokes and keeping everyone laughing. His ability to find humor in any situation was a gift that brightened the lives of those who knew him. He had a unique way of lifting spirits and spreading happiness wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Damiana, Ascencion Hernandez, Prudencio and Consuelo Arriaga.

Survivors include his loving partner, Andrea Ann Lozano; mother and step-father, Ancion “Sandy” and Jesse Garza of Santa Fe; father and step-mother, Gregorio L. and Maria N. Arriaga, Sr.; sister, Rita Arriaga of Santa Fe; half-brother, Yehude Gregorio Arriaga; half-sister, Arely Arriaga; sons, Lorenzo Arriaga and wife, Brittany of Virginia, Gregorio L. Arriaga, III and wife, Kristen of Dickinson, Jacob Arriaga of Ohio, Alex Arriaga and wife, Lorin of Alvin, Matthew Arriaga of Canada; bonus children, Joseph Lozano and fiancé, Aydee DeLeon, Tiffany Ring, Michael Lozano, Jr., Angelo Lozano; grandchildren, Danial Arriaga, Reagan Arriaga, Riley Arriaga; bonus grandchildren, Chelsy Ring, Ben Ring, Joseph “JoJo” Lozano, II.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, with a funeal service beginning at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas, with Minister Michael Welch officiating.
