HITCHCOCK - Mr. Jack “Bubba” Mancuso, Jr., passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, July 17, 2024, in Friendswood.
Born December 4, 1955, in Galveston, Jack served his country in the United States Navy with honor and bravery. He was also a dedicated member of the American Legion, where he continued to serve the community and support fellow veterans. An avid fisherman, Jack found joy in both fresh and saltwater fishing. The thrill of the catch and the peace of being on the water were among his greatest pleasures. A talented woodworker, Jack had a knack for creating beautiful and functional pieces from wood. His ability to transform raw materials into works of art was a testament to his skill and passion. Above all, Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. His love, guidance, and unwavering support shaped the lives of those he held dear, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Mancuso, Sr. and wife, Helen; mother, Durlene Nelson and husband, H. E.; son, Kenneth Paul Mancuso; stepson, Michael Postles.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rose Postles; sons, Jack Clinton Mancuso and Sharon, Ryan Cox and Michele; daughter, Ginger Mancuso; stepdaughter, Heather Springsteen and J.R.; siblings, Shirley Holbert, Jackie Dagestad, Pete Mancuso, Debbie Nelson Marcantel; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
