Jason Wayne Rosenboom, Sr.

LEAGUE CITY – Mr. Jason Wayne Rosenboom, Sr. passed away at the age of 61 on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in League City.

Born September 18, 1964, in Galveston, Mr. Rosenboom was a lifelong area resident. Jason was a proud Pipefitter with Union Local 211 and a man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved hunting and fishing, playing his drums, working with RC cars, and cooking for those he cared about. He was always eager to learn new fire-starting techniques and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and interests with others.

Above all, Jason cherished time spent with his family. His greatest joy was being with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart.

Jason will be remembered for the passions he pursued, the memories he created, and the love he shared with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Betty (Senna) Rosenboom, Sr.; brothers, E. J. Keleman, Jr., Lewis Rosenboom, Jr.; sisters, Mary Frances Moore, Beverly Lera, Rhonda Lynn Bright.

Survivors include his sons, Jason Rosenboom, Jr., and wife, Jasmine of La Porte, Brandon Rosenboom of League City; daughters, Kristen Hunter and husband, Austin of La Marque, Anna Belle Rosenboom of League City; step-sons, Brody Eggleston of Nikiski, Alaska, Bobby Eggleston of Beaumont; brother, John Rosenboom and wife, Dawn of Mission; sisters, Kathy Kearns and husband, Tim of Dickinson, Patricia Patterson and husband, Dale of San Leon; grandchildren, Parker Rosenboom, Morgan Rosenboom, Austyn Everly Hunter, Delilah Eggleston; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3,2026, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas, with Mr. Jason Rosenboom, Jr, officiating.
