PASADENA - Mr. Jerry Keifer Myers passed from this life Saturday morning, January 21, 2023, in Pearland.

Born August 5, 1934 in Rome, Georgia, Mr. Myers joined the U.S. Navy working with submarines and retiring after 20 years as a Chief Quarter Master. Jerry enjoyed playing guitar, singing country music, reading his bible and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Myers, Sr. and Mildred (Camp) Myers; sister, Wylene; brothers, William Myers, Jr. and Johnny Myers.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Betty Lou Myers; daughter, Pamela Myers; sister, Zackie Myers; granddaughter, Bridget Paus; great grandchildren, Seth Richcreek, Mackenzie Mitchell, Tucker Paus and Zoe Paus.

Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
