SANTA FE - Mrs. Jesusita Gloria (Sustaita) Werner passed from this life Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023, in Webster.

Gloria was born December 18, 1942 as one of ten children born to David and Jesusita Sustaita, Sr. The family attended Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church which was where she met the love of her life, Ernst. Married December 31, 1960, Gloria and Ernst shared their love for 62 wonderful years. They started a family and Gloria loved being a mother. She and Ernst loved to go dancing and take dance classes. Gloria was a gifted artist. She loved painting, making porcelain dolls and sewing... just to name a few of her talents. Gloria was a fabulous cook as well. She was known for many tasty dishes, but no one could top her home made tortillas.

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Susie Sustaita; brothers and sisters, Juanita Medrano, Zoila Wittine, Chavela Valdez, Celia Martinez, Robert Sustaita and David Sustaita, Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 62 years, Ernst Herman Werner, Jr.; children, Lisa Clements and husband, Brett, Ernst Werner III, Michelle McClane and husband, Michael, Christine Welsh, Karl Eric Werner and wife, Marisa, Aaron Michael Werner; brother, Carlos Sustaita and wife, Machelle; sisters, Angie Cortez, Esperanza Ovalle; grandchildren, Schuyler, Justin, Miranda, Paige, Tristan, Erica, Meredith, Erin, Jacqueline, Grant, Mallory, Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Claire and River; many nieces and nephews.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
