SANTA FE – Mr. John Henry Moser, Sr., passed away at the age of 94 on Monday, July 13, 2026, in Hitchcock.
Born March 7, 1932, in Galveston, John loved and adored his wife and family. He was married to his loving wife, Nannie, 70 years before she passed in 2022. He dedicated 27 years of service as a lineman and hydraulic mechanic with Texas New Mexico Power, where he was known for his hard work, patience, and skillful hands. He found joy in creating and building, whether it was constructing model trains and an entire miniature town, building airplanes and tractors, or even building his own home. John loved working puzzles, tending his vegetable garden, and preserving the fruits of his labor by canning the food he grew. He took pride in keeping a beautiful yard and could often be found mowing the grass and caring for his property. Above all, John will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was patient, hardworking, kind, and a man who enjoyed creating, fixing, and providing for those he loved. His legacy lives on in the many things he built and the countless memories he leaves behind.
