Joyce E. (Barrrett) Edwards

ALVIN - Mrs. Joyce E. Edwards passed from this life Thursday evening, May 9, 2024, in Texas City.

Born February 1, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Mrs. Edwards had been an area resident since 1971. She worked at all area Kroger’s, enjoyed cruises, arts and crafts; but, nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Freda (Poage) Barrett; husband, Charles Edwards; daughter, Donna Booth; grandson, Jason Booth; sisters, Mary McGuire and Opal Barrett.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Clark and husband, Gary of Fort Worth, Tracey Bradshaw and husband, Michael of Alvin; grandchildren, Ashley Garlick and husband, Scott, Amber Bradshaw, Jake Bradshaw; great-grandson, Tucker Garlick.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
