Juanita "Sis" (Miles) Holbrook

HITCHCOCK - Juanita “Sis” Holbrook, 80, peacefully passed away at home with family in Hitchcock, Texas on October 4, 2025. She was born August 29, 1945, in Grayson, Kentucky, to Garrett Miles and Elizabeth Berger.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Holbrook; daughter, Renita Jeffers; parents, Garrett Miles and Elizabeth Berger; siblings, James “Jim” Harold Miles, Garrett “Jr” Miles, Roger Miles, Johnny Miles, Judy Miles Moiser, and June Carol Miles.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Beth Holbrook (Matthew Smith); sister, Jackie Miles Tolliver; brother, Joseph “JC” Miles (Linda); son-in-law, Scott Jeffers; grandchildren, Kenneth Blake, Chasity (Brian), Grayce; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Juanita enjoyed puzzles, word search puzzles, and Yahtzee. She enjoyed her family and talking on the phone with her sister, Jackie and her dear friend, Linda Hopper. She enjoyed watching and spoiling Ziggy, Daisy Mae, and Tia Tia but had a deep love for her special dog, Toby Keith.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Runge Park Community Center, 4605 Peck Avenue, Santa Fe, Texas 77517.The family requests wearing green in honor of Juanita.
