SANTA FE - Mr. Keith Lee Poston passed from this life Wednesday evening, December 4, 2019, in La Marque.

Keith was born March 25, 1958 in Texas City to Sidney Poston, Sr. and Lillie (Sullivan) Nalepa. At an early age he fell in love with motorcycles which later turned into his life’s passion. He enjoyed building bikes from the ground up and even competed in Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing with his beloved team “Fat Boyz Racing”, which was one of his most prized accomplishments. He had fond memories of his trips traveling to South Dakota to attend the Sturgis Black Hill Rally. Keith truly lived the biker life. Music was also a big part of Keith’s life, especially the blues. He was a great bass player and was a member of two different bands. In 1991, he started his own company, Glass Plus, and worked alongside his son until his retirement in 2018. He liked to golf and fish for anything that would bite his hook… but of all these things, his love for his family brought him the greatest joy in life. He was such a proud father and grandfather, loving brother, uncle and son - who was a Momma’s boy to his core, faithful friend and bad-to-the-bone biker, always fun to be around and whose life touched countless people.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Poston, Sr.; brother, Sidney Poston, Jr.; sister-in-law, Madelen Poston; niece, Kimi Hope.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Nalepa; children, son, Christopher Poston and fiancé, Skye Price; daughter, Melissa Jackson; honorary children, son, Jeremy Brown; daughter, Kirstin Brown; grandsons, Dylan Jackson and Tyler Jackson; sister, Pamela Plummer and husband, Rick; nieces, Jennifer Rives and husband, Jeff, Carla Coy, Alysa Hunter and husband, John, Shana Delossantos and husband, Aaron; nephew, Richard Plummer and wife, Brooke; girlfriend, Lisa Walker; numerous great-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. 

To honor the legacy of Keith, a memorial service will be held at the Jack Brooks Park Pavilion, 5700 FM 2004 &, Hwy 6, Hitchcock, 77563, on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Hayes Funeral Home
