Kelly Jean Dickerson

HITCHCOCK – Ms. Kelly Jean Dickerson passed from this life Monday, November 18, 2024, in Hitchcock.

Kelly was the youngest of 3 born to Leon and Bonnie (Touchstone) Dickerson on March 1, 1974. She embraced life with a playful and spirited personality. She loved her family deeply and shared countless moments of joy through singing, dancing, and making others laugh. An artist at heart, Kelly’s favorite past time was painting yard art, drawing and doing crafts. Her passion in life was caring for children. From the early age of 14, Kelly began watching and caring for kids and it was something that kept her young at heart. It brought her immense joy to watch them grow and learn throughout the years. Kelly was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Dickerson.

Survivors include her mother, Bonnie Dickerson; son, Kaiden Dickerson; brother, Kevin Scott Dickerson and wife, Tonia; sister, Stacy Melchor and husband, Darryl; nephew, Jeremy Melcher and girlfriend, Katie Hess; niece, Kymberlee Melcher and fiancé, John Davis, Jr.; great-niece, Kylee Jo Davis; bunny baby, Lola; many other family members.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kaiden Dickerson, John Davis, Jr., Kevin Dickerson, Darryl Melchor, Jeremy Melchor.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Kelly’s name to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.
