Kelly Martin Herbeck

TEXAS CITY - Mr. Kelly Martin Herbeck passed from this life Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Galveston.

Born September 21, 1961 in Texas City, Mr. Herbeck had been a lifelong resident of Texas City. He was an appliance repairman with EJ & Sons for 20 years and attended Abundant Life Christian Center. Kelly was an inventor, a reader and researched everything. He enjoyed tinkering with almost anything and loved cats.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Roma Olivia (Romero) Herbeck.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Kathy Herbeck; father, Charles and Linda Herbeck of Houston; daughter, Mindy Carthrae of The Woodlands; brothers, Kirk and Marcy Herbeck of Pinehurst, Kris and Scott Herbeck of Kerrville; nieces, Erica Baily of Lago Vista, Kyra Jackson of Gransby, MO, Courtney Williams of Alvin, Samantha Williams, Lainie Williams, Lexie Willilams of Texas City; nephews, Matthew Herbeck, Billy Williams, Jackson Williams of Texas City.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Billy Lynn Williams officiating.
