Kevin Cannon Obituary

NEEDVILLE – Mr. Kevin Shane Cannon passed away at the age of 55 on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Houston.

Kevin was truly one of a kind. Known for his unfiltered honesty and quick wit, he had a way of making people laugh while shaking their heads at the same time. His humor and personality filled every room he walked into. Kevin was a devoted husband and a proud father who loved and cherished his family deeply. He showed that love not just in words, but in the way he lived. From daily phone calls to family game nights, to playing video games and jamming out on the guitar with us. Whether through music, laughter, or simply showing up when someone needed him, Kevin left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To many, he was more than a husband and father; he was a Man of God, a brother, a role model, an uncle, and a friend. Kevin was also an extremely talented musician whose passion and creativity were a gift to those who knew him. Kevin was deeply loved and respected by his family and friends. His life was a blessing to many, and he will be remembered as a remarkable man whose presence made the world brighter. His legacy of love, laughter, strength, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Pennington; biological father, Bobby Cannon; man's best friend, Dobby.

Survivors include his wife of over 32 years, Kimberly Cannon; father, Frenchie Pennington; daughters, Darrian Cannon and Joe, Megan Cannon and Kris, Bianca Cannon and Brody; brothers, Billy Lyvers and Dori, Mike Holdin and Lisa; half-sisters.
