HITCHCOCK - Mr. Kevin Paul Jeansonne passed from this life Monday evening, December 19, 2022, in Hitchcock.

Born April 11, 1963 in Sunset, Louisiana, Mr. Jeansonne had been a resident of Hitchcock for most of his life. He had been a carpenter for over 35 years, specializing in remodeling and custom cabinets. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Joseph and Genevieve Naomi (Hingle) Jeansonne; daughter, Brittany Jeansonne; sister, Nancy Lynn Jeansonne; brother, Barry Naquin.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Patti (Golden) Jeansonne; daughter, Brandi Lynn Jeansonne of Santa Fe; brothers, Mike Naquin and wife, Lindy of Centerpoint, Texas, Roy Jeansonne and wife, Tonya of Santa Fe, Danny Jeansonne of Hitchcock; sisters, Melissa Smith and husband, Lloyd of Hitchcock, Paulette Walker and Jerry Becker of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Robert Martin, Jr., Ryan Martin, Analayah Jeansonne, Rebecca Lynn Nelson.

Pallbearers will be Robert Blanchard, Danny Jeansonne, Jeremy Jeansonne, Roy Jeansonne, Robert Martin, Ryan Martin, Jr. and Mike Naquin.

Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 – 12:00, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX, with Mr. Lloyd Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
