Mrs. Kimberly K. Kiefer passed from this life Thursday evening, August 8, 2024, in Webster.
Kimberly was born on November 6, 1976, in Galveston. She attended kindergarten through high school in Santa Fe, graduating in 1995. She played clarinet in band, sang in choir and played softball at the Girls Softball Association. After graduation she attended College of the Mainland. Kimberly loved quilting and doing crafts, shopping at thrift stores and listening to music while singing at the top of her lungs. But her favorite pastime was arguing, which she started at a very early age. She declared herself the winner when her opponent threw their hands in the air and walked away.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, H.H. Madewell and uncle, Karl Morgan.
Survivors include her children Rebekah Kiefer and Blane Culver; parents, Chuck and Becky Powers; siblings, Danika and Wade Landry, Charlie Powers; grandmother, Frances Madewell; aunts and uncles, Bettie Morgan, Bonnie Madewell, Ray and Deb Edwards, Donald Powers; nephews, Daniel Toohey, Jr., Isaac and Noah Landry; numerous cousins and boyfriend, Paul Bailey, who was with her until the end.
A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
