Lacy Lyn Conti

TEXAS CITY – Ms. Lacy Lyn Conti passed away at the age of 48 on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Texas City.

Born May 22, 1976, in Galveston, Ms. Conti was a lifelong resident of Galveston County. Lacy was a former engineer with the railroad at Ashland in Texas City, she had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. Her love for animals was matched only by her love for her family, with whom she cherished every moment spent together. She leaves behind memories that will be held close by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Freda Micheletti, Sr., Sabastian and Mary Conti; cousin, Dana Marabella. Survivors include her parents, John and Karen Conti of Texas City; brothers, John Conti, Jr., (Renee) of Santa Fe, Jeff Conti (Abby) of Spring; uncles, Torello Micheletti (CarolAnn) of Galveston, Charlie Micheletti (Lisa) of League City; aunt, Jody Marabella (Pete) of Santa Fe; nieces and nephews, Tyer Conti, Kalley Conti, Charlee Conti and Harris Conti; cousins, Cory Micheletti (Hollie), Charlie Micheletti, III (Bonita), Dr. Holly Marabella (Brandon), Katie Marabella Belt (Garrett), Sebastian Conti (Cindy), Ellen Cody (Clay), Andrea Burdine (Jason).

Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX, with Mr. Don LeCompte officiating. Entombment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Conti, John Conti, Jr., Tyler Conti, Charlie Micheletti, III, Cory Micheletti and Robert Wagner. Honorary bearers will be Anthony Conti, Sabastian Conti, Charlie Micheletti, Jr., Pete Marabella and Torello Micheletti.
