SANTA FE - Mr. Larry Len George passed from this life Saturday morning, February10, 2024, in Santa Fe.
Born April 4, 1958, in Los Angeles, CA, Larry embraced the art of BBQ cookoffs with unparalleled enthusiasm, turning each competition into a celebration of culinary creativity and camaraderie. The sizzle of the grill and the aroma of smoked perfection were Larry’s canvas, and he crafted masterpieces that delighted the taste buds of all fortunate enough to savor his creations.
An avid angler, Larry found solace by the water’s edge, casting lines in pursuit of the perfect catch. His love for fishing was not just a pastime but a source of serenity and connection with the great outdoors. Each fishing expedition became a cherished chapter in his book of memories.
The roar of engines and the thrill of speed held a special place in Larry’s heart. He was a devoted fan of NASCAR, cheering on favorite drivers with unbridled enthusiasm. The excitement of the races became a shared passion, creating lasting bonds and memories with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Cora Jean (Clark) George; sister, Nona McGraw; brothers, Clayton George and Jeff George.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 6 years, Stephanie George; son, Christopher George; daughter, Jessica James-Dike and husband, Kasey; brothers, Terry and Dean George; Nephews, Clint Robinson, Eric McGraw, Chad McGraw; niece, Dena Clark; grandchildren, Damon James, Breanna Booth, Ryan Lejeune, Serenity James; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Spencer Booth.
A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
