Leldon "Roy" Gallaway

BACLIFF - Mr. Leldon "Roy" Gallaway passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, December 6, 2023, in Webster.

Born August 28, 1956, in Texas City, TX, Mr. Gallaway was a member of the Electrical Workers Union Local #111. He attended Bayview Christian Center. Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, working on his cars and singing Karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Wade and Mary Elizabeth (Gann) Gallaway; son, Timothy Gallaway; brothers, Denny, Bobby, Alton and Darrell Gallaway; sister, Beverly Mauldin.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Leilani Gallaway; son, Brian Horner and wife, Amy; daughters, Felicia Gallaway (Jose Rios), Nancy Gallaway (Juan Mendoza), Autumn Vandermark, Rose Gallaway (Carlton Demouey); brothers, Clifford Gallaway and wife, Cindy, Rodger Gallaway and wife, Deb; sister-in-law, Wanda Gallaway; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501. 

A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at VFW Post 5400, 11230 Highway 6, Santa Fe, with Pastor Fred Chico Michael officiating.
