DICKINSON – Lewis Moreno passed away at the age of 26 on April 17, 2026, in League City.
Lewis was born on March 21, 2000, in Texas City. Growing up, he was a quiet, easy-going child who was beautiful inside and out. The family moved to Louisianan when he was 9 and while attending school there, he started taking Marine PT classes. Inspired by his cousin and stepfather, it became Lewis’ goal to graduate and enter the military. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marines from 2018-2022. That quiet boy turned into a dependable and kind young man. He loved fishing and hunting in the summers with his cousins, watching Anime, listening to music and most of all, playing his video games. He loved his kids with all his heart and enjoyed spending time with family any chance he could. It didn’t take much to make Lewis happy, and we sure are going to miss his handsome smile.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rudy Moreno, Willie Phillips, and Jose Reyes, Sr.; great-great uncle, Antonio Maldenado; uncles, Jose Reyes, Jr., and Sam Reyes.
