Lewis Ruddell Rosenboom, Jr.

FRIENDSWOOD - Mr. Lewis Ruddell Rosenboom passed away from this life Monday, June 10, 2024, in Houston.

Lewis was born March 12, 1962, in Galveston. He worked as a machinist at Todd's Shipyard and BP/Amoco for over 25 years before retiring. It was in retirement that Lewis found his true calling…technology. He enjoyed staying up to date with all the latest platforms, gadgets, etc. Lewis was the best storyteller, and his followers loved listening to him. Using social media, Lewis was able to reach countless people through his bible study group chatroom. He served as an inspiration to his many followers online. Lewis was a major movie buff who could quickly catch you off guard with his movie quotes and phrases. He was the life of the party, and we will miss him greatly until we can see him again.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Betty (Senna) Rosenboom, Sr.; sister, Beverly Lera; brother, E.J. Keleman.

Survivors include his daughters, Cherie Correa (Horacio), Lara Rosenboom; bonus daughters, Pamela Gutierrez, Carliecia Gloria; grandchildren, Brenna Correa, Adelina Correa, Karter Holliday; brothers, John Rosenboom, Sr., Jason Rosenboom, Sr.; sisters, Mary Moore, Patricia Patterson, Kathy Kearns; nephew, Shawn Jones along with numerous other family members.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home..

Pallbearers will be John Rosenboom, II, Jared Rosenboom, Colby Rosenboom, Jason Rosenboom, Jr., Brandon Rosenboom and Steven Sewell.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
