WAXAHACHIE - Mrs. Lillie Poston Nalepa passed from this life Thursday morning, July 8, 2021, in Dallas.

Born November 28, 1930, in Downsville, Louisiana, Mrs. Nalepa had been a resident of Waxahachie for the past year, The Woodlands since 1996, previously of Santa Fe. Lillie was a real estate agent and broker for over 20 years, a travel agent who loved to travel. She had attended Woodsedge Community Church in The Woodlands and was a former member of All Saints Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lannie and Inez (Daniel) Sullivan; husbands, Sidney Poston and Mitch Nalepa; sons, Sidney Poston, Jr. and wife, Madelen, Keith L. Poston; step-son, James Nalepa; brother, Leonard Sullivan; sisters, Vi Watts, Joy Perry, Joyce Boughton, Lena Graham; sisters-in-law, Melba Sullivan.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Plummer and husband, Richard of Waxahachie, Texas; step-children, Mickey Nalepa and wife, Sue of The Woodlands, Mike Nalepa and wife, Diane of League City, Glory Crafts and husband, West of Sugarland; brother, James L. Sullivan of Oakridge, Louisiana, Mike Sullivan and wife, Lora of Rayville, Louisiana,; sisters, Helen Chaney of West Monroe, Louisiana, Elsie Harvey and husband, Don of Conroe; Gay Douglas and husband, Marshall of Rayville, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Carol Sullivan of Rayville, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Mr. Richard “Rikky” Plummer officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
