SANTA FE – Mrs. Linda Kaye Blanchard passed from this life Sunday morning, December 17, 2023, in Santa Fe.

Born October 8, 1949, in Jonesboro, LA, Linda had lived most of her life in Santa Fe. She worked as a checker/stocker for Big Chief for 22 years and was a member of the VFW Post 5400 Ladies Auxiliary. Linda loved to bake, especially cakes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Doyle and Helen Margaret (Carr) Salasbury; brother, Grover Salasbury; brother-in-law, Sonny Hultquist.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Willie Eugene Blanchard; sons, Robert Blanchard and wife, Annette, Kevin Blanchard and Lucy Campos; brother, Ronald Salasbury; sister, Sandra Hultquist; grandchildren, William Gill (Brittany), Christina Gill, Darryl Gill, Amber Garcia (Brian); great grandchildren, Blakely Gill, Cameron Davis, Brianna Garcia and Nolan Garcia.

A private cremation was held under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
