SANTA FE – Mrs. Lois Marie Kalbow passed from this life Wednesday morning, December 21, 2022, in Houston.

Lois was born on September 27, 1933, to Eustace and Jennie White. Lois was a wonderful mother to her 3 children. She continued to care for her son, Bo, throughout his life and they were glued to the hip. They were best of friends who loved traveling and shopping together. Lois enjoyed maintaining and tending to her flower garden, crepe myrtles and lemon trees. She liked sharing her lemons with friends and family. Lois will be missed but we know that she is reunited with her sons, and for that we are thankful.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eustace and Jennie (Sinclair) White; sons, Timothy Lorfing, Roy “Bo” Lorfing; husbands, Theodore Paul Lorfing, Murl Millstid, Raymond Kalbow; companion, Chick Plowman.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Theiler; sister, Charlotte Odum; grandchildren, Zachary Theiler (Shelby), Miranda Griffith; great-grandchildren, Cathy, Nicholas, Phillip, Christopher; family friends, Willie Plowman, David Craigie.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
