Louie Mark Jones

WEBSTER - Louie Mark Jones passed on July 3, 2025, at his residence in Webster, TX.

Lovingly known at times by his family as “Sweet Lou”, he was born as Louis Elbert Steele in Sacramento, CA on September 23, 1993, to Charlene Cain. Louie was an avid sports fan; he especially loved the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to fish, kayak, play disc golf, and basketball. He worked in the service industry at many local restaurants both casual and fine dining. It was here that his charisma and personality shined.

Louie loved his family fiercely and was a tender and fun-loving father to his daughter, Lilly.

Preceded in death by his mother, Charlene. He leaves behind his wife, Randi Jones and daughter, Lilly; dad, Richard Jones; brothers, Carter Jones and Max Jones all of Vidor, TX , Jeremy George (Lauren) of Sacramento, CA, Rob Steele and sister, Samantha Steele both of New Orleans, LA and sister, Christina Steele of Las Vegas, NV; grandmother, Linda Cain- Black of Sacramento, CA; grandmother-in-law, Elaine Tacquard of Santa Fe, TX; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Chelsea Shankle of Hitchcock, TX, JJ Davidson and Katie Brieden of Texas City, TX; parents-in-law, Paul and Roxann Tacquard of Hitchcock, TX, Jerry and Elisha Davidson of Santa Fe, TX, and longtime friend, Cody Reed.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
