TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Margaret LaVergne Ryan passed from this life Friday afternoon, May 1, 2020 in Texas City.
Born October 9, 1938 in Eunice, Louisiana, Mrs. Ryan had been a resident of Texas City for most of her life. She was an avid woman of faith and enjoyed flower gardening especially azaleas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Amy and Evia (Doucet) LaVergne; brothers, Lionel LaVergne, Joseph LaVergne.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 58 years, James Henry Ryan, III; sons, Mitchell Vasseur and wife, Rhonda of La Crecenta, California, James H. Ryan IV and wife, Angela of Santa Fe, Jeffrey Ryan and wife, Marlee of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughters, Julie Koch and husband, Dyle of West Lake Village, California, Marian Ryan of Texas City; sister, Verna Ward and husband, Jack of Eunice, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A private family burial will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery,
