SANTA FE - Mrs. Marilyn Elaine Hastings passed from this life Monday afternoon, August 7, 2023, in Santa Fe.

Born October 4, 1957 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Mrs. Hastings had been a resident of Santa Fe since 2022, previously of Clear Lake. She was a supervisor with TSA for 12 years before her retirement, was a member of the Baptist faith and loved being outdoors with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Nell (Wells) Powell.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 32 years, Richard Hastings; son, Brandon Belcher and wife, Lexie; brothers, Charles Powell, David Powell, Bruce Powell; sister, Sheila Meadows; grandchildren, Sicily Belcher, Zach Belcher.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
