Mark "Chip" Delaine Neal, Jr.

HITCHCOCK - Mr. Mark Delaine “Chip” Neal, Jr. passed from this life Thursday, August 8, 2024, in League City.

Born September 30, 1985, in Galveston, Mr. Neal had been a lifelong resident of the area. Mark had a passion for watching horror movies. He loved the thrill and excitement of a good scare, whether it was a classic horror film or the latest release, he found joy in the suspense that came with watching these movies. A dedicated and loving individual, Mark was adored by many. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, creating lasting bonds and cherished friendships.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, Floyd Neal, III.

Survivors include his mother, Catherine Rena (Massey) Neal of Grapeland; father, Mark D. Neal, Sr. of Santa Fe; son, Zayden Oliver Chatalosh of Legue City; brothers, Alec Neal of Santa Fe, Bradley Neal and wife, Lauren of Pearland; grandparents, Beverly Harris of Santa Fe, Floyde Neal and Darlene of Fort Stockton; cousin, Christopher Neal, with whom he was extremely close and always there for each other.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
